Please be sure to join us at the Charlotte REIA Savvy Investor Networking meeting on Tuesday, April 3rd at 6:30PM at City Tavern in Fort Mill located at 501 Crossroads Plaza, Fort Mill, SC with Jeffrey Richman. At the meeting, Jeffrey is going to teach you all about how to buy gorgeous houses in great neighborhoods with little or no cash or cred by taking over the seller's existing mortgage(s) "Subject-To"!
Subject To: “Subject to existing mortgage staying in place” – this is a clause that is becoming very popular on real estate contracts. But what does it really mean? What are the advantages for both sellers and buyers? How does it work?
When you take over a property using the “subject to” clause, it means that you get the deed/title to the property, but the existing loan stays in the original homeowners’ name. However you now control the property and make the payments on it. Of course if you don’t make the payments, you will lose the property and the seller’s credit will be damaged, since the liability is in his/her name.
Jeffrey has been doing Subject To deals for the past 25 years and several in the past few weeks, so this is not seminar stuff that you don't know if it works in the real world or not. Subject To is REAL! It works and it works very well!
Come join Jeffrey and the rest of the Charlotte REIA crew at the City Tavern of Fort Mill. The food is great, the drinks are plentiful and the company is awesome!
If you are a member of Charlotte REIA, there is no charge to attend. Guests are only $3.00 at the door.
